As the CEO of Branded, Cory prides himself on the service and results he and Branded provide their clients. He has over 14 years of experience creating and managing large scale projects for organizations large and small. From highly technical software engineering programs to self-service e-Commerce solutions, Cory has owned and managed delivery of dozens of projects for dozens of clients. Prior to running Branded, Cory held leadership roles in Marketing and Product for The Boeing Company, Total Wine & More, and CoreLogic. Cory is focused on providing value to Branded’s clients, and creating a team and organization that is family first, client focused, and results driven. Cory went to Clemson University (Go Tigers!) and resides in Maryland with his wife, 2 kids and dog.
Alison is a seasoned operations leader who thrives on making the business engine run smoothly. She comes from a TV and video production background, working on everything from The Real Housewives franchises to countless National Geographic docuseries. After building a foundation in media operations, she transitioned her professional career to business operations. Her unique background in both production and operations has been incredibly beneficial to Branded and our clients. Alison graduated from Penn State and resides in Maryland with her husband, two daughters and new puppy.
Cliff Peterson has over 40 years of experience in technology. He founded Integrency in 2002 after a long career including being one of Microsoft’s first employees, NASA, FAA, NIH, teaching college for 4 years, and much more. His passion and heart are defined in the name of the company. Integrency is the words “integrity” and “transparency” combined. Cliff’s depth and breadth of knowledge in the technology field, paired with a desire to serve Integrency’s clients and the community, make Integrency an informed and trusted partner. Cliff is a published technology author, musician, coder, and avid gamer.
Born at Andrews Air Force Base, Cliff’s home and heart have always been in Maryland. He lives in Gaithersburg, MD with his wife of 40+ years, Marianne. They have six adult kids, two grandkids, and an adopted granddog.
Rory runs and manages Branded’s Web Service team out of Cape Town, South Africa, affectionately named “Branded South Africa”. He is also Co-Founder of Visual Click Studio, a Digital Marketing and Branding agency. Previously, Rory has been involved with a multitude of companies around the world, ranging from incubation investment to business turnaround deals. Rory has worked for small NGOs and multinational companies alike as a business consultant. His background in electrical engineering and business turnaround gives him a unique insight into business strategy, marketing and technical development. Rory lives just outside Cape Town with his wife, son and cat.
John is a seasoned marketing expert with over three decades of experience in B2B marketing,
content creation, lead generation, corporate communications, and branding. Recognized for his thoughtfulness, creativity, and enthusiasm, he focuses on assisting our clients in understanding and communicating their stories clearly and consistently across multiple channels. John specializes in content generation, corporate messaging, marketing strategy, demand generation, campaign management, brand development, and product marketing. Whether crafting web pages, sales sheets, white papers, or newsletters, John brings a wealth of expertise to elevate brand stories and drive success. John and his wife live in Maryland’s Eastern Shore with their four children.
Jess works directly with Branded’s clients to make sure all of their marketing needs are executed and create amazing ideas for their growth. She is super passionate about working one-on-one with her clients, creating genuine relationships, and always giving 110%. Jess graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from George Washington University in Washington, DC. She is originally from the outskirts of Philadelphia and has lived on the East Coast for her entire life. She has held multiple positions centered around consulting, strategic communications, marketing, and public relations. Jess has worked with clients in fashion, technology, finance, and everything in between!
Tara is our in-house social media expert, with over twelve years of experience in the field! She graduated with a Communications degree from Stevenson University and is originally from Brooklyn Park, Maryland. As a Maryland native and digital communications guru, she is highly skilled in crafting engaging, creative content for our local clients to grow their businesses and increase their market share.
Roelani Kleyn is an accomplished professional with over a decade of experience in website development, branding, and user experience (UX) design. She excels in creating visually stunning, user-friendly websites that effectively convey brand messages and enhance user engagement. With a strong background in graphic design, Roelani seamlessly integrates aesthetics with functionality, ensuring each project not only meets but exceeds client expectations.
Melissa is an amazing artist and designer. In fact, she designed Branded’s logo and visual brand. Melissa studied Graphic and Interactive Design at Temple University where she received a BFA and is originally from Leesburg, Virginia. Melissa joined the Branded team in 2022 and has worked on a number of client projects from business card designs, to magazine ads, social posts, and proposal and document designs. Outside of work, you can most likely find her at the rock climbing gym or hiking a new trail! She grew up riding horses, and loves the outdoors.
Mahfuza got her start in Graphic Design at the Tyler School of Art and is currently studying for her master’s at MICA (Maryland Institute College of Arts) in UX design! She is based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and has over four years of ongoing graphic design and digital design experience. Mahfuza’s nickname is Ducky, a name she coined after her waddle-like walk back in middle school – she’s embraced it ever since! Ducky is a true artist. Her creativity in everything she does is truly outstanding. From logos, to posters, to social media posts, her skillset is almost limitless!
Camryn Sheasley, having started out as an illustrator, now specializes in digital and print marketing design. Originally hailing from Berks County, PA, she earned her BFA in Graphic and Interactive Design at the Tyler School of and is now based in NYC. She can handle anything from social media assets, billboards, print magazines, pitch decks, and more!
When she’s not working with design, you can find her behind a cheese counter as a professional cheesemonger, or in a cafe, tasting artisanal teas and coffees.
Mike is a video producer and filmmaker specializing in corporate video production since leaving his own corporate career in 2010. His fingerprints can be felt all over everything that happens on set —from camera to lighting to audio and everything in between. Internally, Mike’s a stickler for details. Externally, he uses a non-technical and non-intimidating approach to make each project fun for everyone.
Meredith is a video producer and editor that has created over 2,500 videos since 2010. While Mer is an asset on set, she truly shines in the editing room—sculpting raw footage into compelling narratives. Her passion for cinematography is a symphony of creativity, skill, and an unwavering love for storytelling.
Cory comes to Branded with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Kent State University. He is originally from Indiana, Pennsylvania, too! Cory has been working as a video editor for about a year and a half. His passion began when he started filming and editing videos of his own musical performances. This taught him the language of visual storytelling and made him understand the interdisciplinary nature of video editing—where music, pacing, and visuals come together to create art!
