Cory Luckett
CEO
As the CEO of Branded, Cory prides himself on the service and results he and Branded provide their clients. He has over 14 years of experience creating and managing large scale projects for organizations large and small. From highly technical software engineering programs to self-service e-Commerce solutions, Cory has owned and managed delivery of dozens of projects for dozens of clients. Prior to running Branded, Cory held leadership roles in Marketing and Product for The Boeing Company, Total Wine & More, and CoreLogic. Cory is focused on providing value to Branded’s clients, and creating a team and organization that is family first, client focused, and results driven. Cory went to Clemson University (Go Tigers!) and resides in Maryland with his wife, 2 kids and dog.
Alison Denner
Director of Operations
Alison is a seasoned operations leader who thrives on making the business engine run smoothly. She comes from a TV and video production background, working on everything from The Real Housewives franchises to countless National Geographic docuseries. After building a foundation in media operations, she transitioned her professional career to business operations. Her unique background in both production and operations has been incredibly beneficial to Branded and our clients. Alison graduated from Penn State and resides in Maryland with her husband, two daughters and new puppy.
Rory Atkinson
Head of Web Services
Rory runs and manages Branded’s Web Service team out of Cape Town, South Africa, affectionately named “Branded South Africa”. He is also Co-Founder of Visual Click Studio, a Digital Marketing and Branding agency. Previously, Rory has been involved with a multitude of companies around the world, ranging from incubation investment to business turnaround deals. Rory has worked for small NGOs and multinational companies alike as a business consultant. His background in electrical engineering and business turnaround gives him a unique insight into business strategy, marketing and technical development. Rory lives just outside Cape Town with his wife, son and cat.
John Lovell
Sr. Marketing Manager
John is a seasoned marketing expert with over three decades of experience in B2B marketing,
content creation, lead generation, corporate communications, and branding. Recognized for his thoughtfulness, creativity, and enthusiasm, he focuses on assisting our clients in understanding and communicating their stories clearly and consistently across multiple channels. John specializes in content generation, corporate messaging, marketing strategy, demand generation, campaign management, brand development, and product marketing. Whether crafting web pages, sales sheets, white papers, or newsletters, John brings a wealth of expertise to elevate brand stories and drive success. John and his wife live in Maryland’s Eastern Shore with their four children.
Jess Talamo
Marketing Coordinator
Jess works directly with Branded’s clients to make sure all of their marketing needs are executed and create amazing ideas for their growth. She is super passionate about working one-on-one with her clients, creating genuine relationships, and always giving 110%. Jess graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Communications from George Washington University in Washington, DC. She is originally from the outskirts of Philadelphia and has lived on the East Coast for her entire life. She has held multiple positions centered around consulting, strategic communications, marketing, and public relations. Jess has worked with clients in fashion, technology, finance, and everything in between!
Caroline Trout
Support
Caroline is from Aldie, Virginia, and she’s recently graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA, pursuing a degree in marketing with a concentration in product and brand management. Her bright energy and new, creative ideas is right up Branded’s alley! In her free time, Caroline loves being at her family’s beach house in Dewey Beach, DE. She loves the beach and spending time with her family and friends.
Melissa Swanchara
Graphic Designer
Melissa is an amazing artist and designer. In fact, she designed Branded’s logo and visual brand. Melissa studied Graphic and Interactive Design at Temple University where she received a BFA and is originally from Leesburg, Virginia. Melissa joined the Branded team in 2022 and has worked on a number of client projects from business card designs, to magazine ads, social posts, and proposal and document designs. Outside of work, you can most likely find her at the rock climbing gym or hiking a new trail! She grew up riding horses, and loves the outdoors.
Mahfuza Chowdhury
Graphic Designer
Mahfuza got her start in Graphic Design at the Tyler School of Art and is currently studying for her master’s at MICA (Maryland Institute College of Arts) in UX design! She is based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and has over four years of ongoing graphic design and digital design experience. Mahfuza’s nickname is Ducky, a name she coined after her waddle-like walk back in middle school – she’s embraced it ever since! Ducky is a true artist. Her creativity in everything she does is truly outstanding. From logos, to posters, to social media posts, her skillset is almost limitless!
Cory Leydic
Video Editor
Cory comes to Branded with a Bachelors and Masters degree in Music Education from Indiana University of Pennsylvania and Kent State University. He is originally from Indiana, Pennsylvania, too! Cory has been working as a video editor for about a year and a half. His passion began when he started filming and editing videos of his own musical performances. This taught him the language of visual storytelling and made him understand the interdisciplinary nature of video editing—where music, pacing, and visuals come together to create art!
Jesse Sieff
Videographer & Content Strategist
Jesse is a retired Marine Corps, musician. Not only did he travel the world playing in the most prestigious venues, he was in charge of much of the video and photo content for the Corps. Since retiring in 2020, Jesse jumped full time into video and strategy. Jesse lives just outside Annapolis, MD with his wife – also a Marine.
Pierre Funes
Photographer / Videographer
When Pierre is not on a photoshoot or editing photos, he is traveling and working with clients on a number of creative endeavors. He has an eye like no-other – his ability to see a scene and use a camera to capture the essence of the moment is remarkable. Pierre specializes in video production and creative photography. He has also created and worked on shoots for top media publications in the Washington D.C./Maryland/Virginia area. Pierre lives in Washington D.C. with his fiancé!
Tara Love
Social Media Manager
Tara is our in-house social media expert, with over twelve years of experience in the field! She graduated with a Communications degree from Stevenson University and is originally from Brooklyn Park, Maryland. As a Maryland native and digital communications guru, she is highly skilled in crafting engaging, creative content for our local clients to grow their businesses and increase their market share.
