Supporting Strategies needed marketing materials and an overarching marketing strategy to take their business to the next level. The marketing Supporting Strategies was executing was disconnected from their business goals, didn’t share the values of the team, and lacked messaging to their target audience.

Overview

Supporting Strategies is an outsourced accounting, bookkeeping, and operational support service business that focuses on providing customizable, flexible options for business owners. Steve Barber, Owner and Managing Director of the Northwest Maryland branch, leads his team with over 30 years of experience in the space and a hefty track record of accomplishments in leading his community.

He is heavily involved in the community, sitting on the Executive Board for many local businesses and non-profits. Steve is driven by providing valuable and innovative solutions to all of his clients, making it abundantly clear that his leadership and business sets itself apart from the competition. Because of this, Steve relies on these differentiators to guarantee him and his hardworking team consistent success and growth.

Situation Brief

Supporting Strategies previously lacked a marketing presence and plan despite experiencing rapid growth. They recognized the need to facilitate further growth through strategic planning and effective marketing management. Supporting Strategies hired Branded to create and execute on a new corporate marketing strategy. The strategy was aimed to accurately portray their identity, clearly communicate their services, and convey the value they provide to their clients.

To develop and execute a strategic marketing plan, Supporting Strategies and Branded engaged in a number of discovery and strategy sessions. This led to the creation of the overall corporate marketing strategy and a prioritized calendar of objectives. After gaining an understanding of Supporting Strategies’ business, goals and vision, Branded executed on the initiatives.



Our team of creatives, marketing experts, and graphic designers took what was learned about Supporting Strategies Northwest Maryland, and brought to life a story, a brand, and messaging that showcased the service and expertise of their business. All told, we created:

Steve was awarded “Small Business of the Year for 2023″ by his local Chamber of Commerce. Steve and Supporting Strategies Northwest Maryland is also one of the largest entities in the Supporting Strategies portfolio, and has won back to back to back President Awards within the business.

Branded still runs and maintains the Supporting Strategies marketing plan. The relationship between both organizations is strong and extremely close. We are proud to not only call Supporting Strategies our client, but also our friends!
